Health care provider fees are regulated by the Insurance Vehicle Regulation and the Enhanced Accident Benefit Regulation. Regulated rates are subject to an annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) adjustment on April 1.
Health Care Provider PIN Reset – April 1st
All Health Care Provider PINs reset every six months (April 1st and October 1st). If you’ve logged into the Health Care Provider Portal (HCPP) in the last six months, a new PIN will be emailed to your PIN management email address. Ad hoc resets don’t affect scheduled resets (e.g., if you requested a PIN reset on March 27th, you will still get a new PIN on April 1st).
To access the HCPP, use your vendor number and six digit PIN. HCPP can be accessed through the Invoicing and Reporting page, and HCIU contact information can be found on the Contact Us page.

ICBC Recovery Network
The ICBC Recovery Network is a group of health care and service providers across B.C. that meet ICBC’s requirements, are eligible for exclusive benefits and can direct bill ICBC for pre-approved treatment sessions.
Interested in joining? Apply to become a member and review the Health Care Direct Billing Terms and the discipline-specific program guides found on each provider tab.
Patient consent
It is important to discuss with your patient the purpose of the reports and request their consent to share the report with ICBC, consistent with your information sharing guidelines. Where patient consent has not been granted to share reports with ICBC, ICBC will send the Health Care Provider Report request letter (CL491) to the health care provider outlining applicable legislation that permits ICBC to obtain the report. For more information, review our patient consent considerations for health care providers.
Acupuncturists and registered massage therapists may also be requested to submit clinical records.
